Lekwa’s load-shedding has been suspended.
According to a post on the Facebook-page of the Lekwa Municipality on Friday, September 17, internal load-shedding has been suspended because the load demand is stable.
Ms Thobeka Mtshiselwa, communications manager, said that should the demand rises, the community will be informed and the load will be minimised accordingly.
With regard to power interruptions in areas, the fire department can be contacted.
The switchboard number for a call to be transferred to the department, is 017 712 9600.
A WhatsApp-group however, supplied two other numbers, 017 712 551 and 017 712 5458.
The Standerton Advertiser called the numbers and can confirm that the fire department is reached.
